Associate Professor Sally Bell is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist and is the Director of Gastroenterology at Monash Health.
Sally completed her Doctorate of Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital, University of Melbourne, Australia in Molecular virology. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in IBD at St Mark’s Hospital, London. Sally specialises in inflammatory bowel disease with a special interest in pregnancy and IBD, viral hepatitis, chronic liver disease and clinical nutrition.
Having been a doctor mentor over the years, Sally was head of the Specialist Training Committee in Gastroenterology (RACP) for 10 years, and has served as a board member of the Gastroenterology Society of Australia and is actively involved with many other professional groups
