Dr Dinesh Palipana OAM is an Australian doctor, lawyer and disability advocate. He is the first quadriplegic doctor in Queensland, Australia, working in the busy Emergency Department of Gold Coast University Hospital.
Dinesh is the second person with quadriplegia to graduate as a doctor in Australia and the first with spinal cord injury, after refusing to let his motor vehicle accident deter him from his dream of becoming a doctor.
